design hotel jewel was nothing special, considering the so-called 4-star label. i also had to make my way through a crowded restaurant just to reach the reception. they really should’ve given me a free upgrade after all this hassle. definitely not the pampering i expected. almost thought about giving this place a good review, but just couldn’t.

Exceptional breakfasts with a twist
Staying at Design Hotel Jewel was a delight. The breakfast experience was truly exceptional, featuring unique dishes like pancakes and avocado rosti. Every morning felt celebratory! The staff's attentiveness made all the difference, as they would refill the complimentary infused water and surprise us with delightful sweet treats in the room. Plus, the hotel’s location was perfect, just a short walk from major attractions, yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle.
However, the lack of a full passenger elevator might pose a challenge for some guests, especially on higher floors with steep stairs. While I appreciated the luggage lift, navigating the stairs could feel cumbersome after a long day of exploring the city. I also wished for more power outlets near the bed, as charging devices became a bit of a juggling act.
